1) The tutorial has been made with iBuild (free download from www.acruxsoft.com), and this program exploits many of Apple's great technologies, such as AppleScript and QuickTime. If the tutorial quits unexpectedly, this has to do with QuickTime. Here is how to fix it.
The problem is that you have an old version of QuickTime, or an incomplete recent version. What you should do to enjoy the tutorial is download QuickTime 5 (free version) from Apple's site and install it again. When you are asked to choose the installation type, choose 'recommended' (not 'minimum').
2) If you run the tutorial from a CD-ROM, a note may appear that the file could not be opened. Simply copy the folder containing the tutorial onto your hard disk. It should run fine from there.
3) For those running the tutorial in Mac OS 8.6 to 9.2, there may be issues with respect to the carbonLibs you use. carbonLibs are additions to your Mac OS to allow it to run carbonized applications. Make sure you have the most recent.
